Touring around the world, I was often attracted by the beauty of the nature. Its scenery wonder was full of expression, as if the God painted them with an inspiration and emotion. Amazed by what I saw, I was curious where the painting palettes of the God were. I finally got the answer when I visited a place called Huanglong, Sichuan province in China.
The bus was driving on the winding mountain road. On both sides of the road, the cliff was steep and rough with stones piling up. Here and there, mountains were snowcapped, making the place looked deserted. The God carefully made his choice, well intentioned, he hid his painting palettes deep in this desolate land, keeping it secret. After passing through a mountain bealock that was more than 4000 meters above the sea level, hillsides were highlighted in the soft sunlight, and began to show green, green grasses were progressively replaced by green trees, getting more and more pretty and dense. Those roadside towering rocks more looked like decoration and foil among the green. My heart started to feel excited, not quite sure what to expect ahead.
Sitting on a cable car to the top of the hill, I came to the viewing platform, and looked over the railing: the sky was pure blue and white clouds were floating. The funny thing was: the weather forecast predicted a light rain today, which made me worried on the way here and blamed my bad luck. A staff member told us: yesterday was raining all day long! No wonder the ponds were full of water to welcome us. We were really lucky!
Walking along the neat wooden trail, visitors were encouraged and rushed forward by good weather cheerfully. The pavement structure had some thin ice residue in early morning, which was slipping and caused stumbling. After walking around 2300 meters, it suddenly widely opened and was brightened. I could not believe my own eyes, colorful ponds were all over places. OMG, what kind of gorgeous dazzling beauty it was! Bright white calcified ponds were filled with green, blue, dark red, milk yellow, and iron brown colors. The overflowed ponds were overgrown with bushes, as if the God was tired after painting, leaving his painting brushes behind dipping in the palettes. The clear water reflected the surrounding mountains and clouds, even the crowd noise could not and was impossible to disturb the serenity and purity of the colors. The sceneries I used to see during travels: mountains and rivers, flowers and leaves, sunrise and moon glowing, waterfalls and springs.... all came across my mind, accompanied by the diligent God’s painting figure. Watching while walking along ponds, the feet felt being elevated and the mind was precipitated. The God unintentionally left his palettes to the world after painting, which were gorgeously and brightly flashing and dazzling like jades in mountain valleys. The site of "Lotus Waterfall" must be a place where the God was drinking. He held the wine cup, hosting and toasting to his guests by showing his grand master pieces of painting. 】
